CONGRATULATIONS SONNY!

I'm totally freaking out in a good way because Sonny Liew has been nominated for an Eisner Award for his pencilling and inking on our book, "Wonderland!"  Here's the SLG news blurb about it, where you can congratulate Sonny.  Issue #3 is out now, and I have to gush that with every issue, Sonny's work gets more textured and nuanced.  I am very pleased indeed.

Mr Kovac?...back from LJ death? I have been waiting to ask a question. In your professional opinion as an illustrator, are Ren and Stimpy gay?

I'm so sorry I'm not at APE! And yeah, it's hard dragging myself out from under that rock. Oh- and yes Ren and Stimpy are TOTAL butt pirates.

Ok completely off topic (congrats though) but you have to see this if you haven't already http://www.goldencompassmovie.com/ AND remember when I told you Nicole Kidman should play Lyra's mom?????? Well they cast her!!! Unfortunately whoever was picking up my brainwaves that day did not get the part about David Bowie for her dad...

I haven't seen the trailer thingie yet, but I've seen pictures of Nicole as Mrs. Coulter, and I'm totally excited. But scared that they'll ruin it. And how the hell will they pull off The Subtle Knife, or The Amber Spyglass?!

I know! I'm afraid they'll only do the first book and end it there. Which, if they're just going to ruin the other two books maybe fine.
