NOVEMBER SIGNINGS
     Oh my god you guys, listen to this!  I'm doing a signing at The Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach on Saturday November 18th at 2 p.m. with Dame Darcy and Crab Scrambly!  I'm excited because Crab Scrambly is a supernice fellow SLG guy, and Dame Darcy is one of my favorite creators!  I've been so busy for the last few months with just life stuff that it'll be nice to remind myself that I write and illustrate comics.
     I'm also doing a group signing at Metropolis Comics on Wednesday November 22nd from 5 to 8 p.m.  Be thankful!
     So the rumor is that Dame Darcy is bringing her banjo to that Manhattan Beach signing, and I can only hope with hands clasped and eyes shut tight that it's true.  
     I had the day off today, so I've been reading A Storm of Swords, book three in George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice & Fire" series.  I totally love these books.  Unfortunately, I also watched "Doom" with The Rock*.  I can offer no excuses for this, other than I wanted to see the monsters.  I'm a sucker for monsters.   

*To clarify, The Rock was not here in my house watching the movie with me, I just meant he's IN the movie.

oh my Gawds, this is so unfair! why am i living in france?! i so would have loved to have a signed copy of "AUTUMN" and/or "WONDERLAND" from you :(

i have not seen "DOOM" actually! i do not really regret it but it seems as incredibly funny as "ALONE IN THE DARK" and Christophe Gans' "SILENT HILL" (which to me was by far the best comedy of the year...unfortunately!) so maybe i should take a look one day when i am bored haha!

Are you planning on trying to come to any signings in the US, for the excellent work you're doing with Serena? That would be totally cool! And I know this is lame, but I want to see Silent Hill. I keep bringing it up, and my boyfriend keeps rolling his eyes. Then I say something like, "I know, but it has MONSTERS!" I think I've broken him down and he's willing to watch it now. I will expect it to suck. :)

Silent Hill did suck, but it is worth seeing due to some of the visuals. And I quite liked one of the concepts of the film, but I won't say because I don't want to give anything away. Oh and it has one of my girlfriends in the film, I can never remember her name but she played the Borg Queen in one of the Star Trek films - and semi-recently she was on Deadwood. I love her.

Oh and I would LOVE to have Vincent out to a signing! I would LOVE to see him in person. It would be so lovely, we could all have a tea party and watch monster movies together.

And Tommy! I hope you have a lovely signing with Crab and Dame Darcy.

you have to admit, it would've been pretty neat if The Rock popped by your house like, "Hey man, feel like watching a movie I'm in? I know it's not very good, but I'm a real nice guy. *big smile*"

I sort can't help but like the Rock even if he is a big old nasty ass republican. I'd hit it.

Anyhoo, I have to call you soon. I haven't talked to you two in a long time and I miss you! Come up here please- or come and visit me in NYC in December! I'll be there 10 days for work. I'll have an apartment in the lower east side.

We're going to the Green Festival today with Mom, Berry and Lar!

Wow, you're going to have an apartment while you're in NYC? I bet you're excited! I keep meaning to email you that my mom and I ran into Bart and Johanna in a mall recently. It was nice seeing them, since it's been quite a while.
I'm hoping we can plan some sort of northward trip in early '07. Oh, say hi to your mom, Berry, and Lar for me!
I'm trying to ignore that you said you'd "hit" the Rock. To me he just looks like a big angry baby. An ugly baby. But hey, dif'rent strokes, man. :)

Hi! I'm a huge fan of your Autumn comic and have been biting my nails down to bloody knuckle stumps waiting for the next one. I haven't yet bought Wonderland, but I will!
I always hope you'll come out to NY, I thought maybe since Jhonen was coming to ComicCon you would be out here, too, but no luck.
Anyway, just wanted to write and tell you I think you are amazing. Your artwork, lettering, and storytelling skills are all off the charts!

Thank you! That is so sweet. :)
I hope you DO read "Wonderland," because the artist I'm working with, Sonny Liew, has been nominated for an Eisner Award because of his bee-yoo-tee-ful work on it!
