AUTUMN: THE NEW GIRL

I did an original 7-page story about Autumn (in comic book format) for a young adult literary anthology called Rush Hour: Reckless, published by Random House/Delacorte.  It is now available, and you can order it from Amazon.com HERE, or even from Barnes & Noble HERE.  Unlike Autumn #5, I swear this book is truly available, I'm not lying.  Rush Hour is edited by Michael Cart, and it was very cool of SLG to let me do this new story about Autumn specially for this book.  It's one of my favorite things I've done, there's kind of a lot that happens in those 7 pages, and it gave me a chance to show Autumn appearing in sort of a modern-day setting.  It was totally fun.  Woo-hoo!

Any news on Autumn 5 availability?
Reading Wonderland the other week made me impatient for Autumn..

I was told that since we had to cancel the original release date, new orders will have to be solicited, and I guess I assumed that had already been done, but I don't think it has. SLG has their copies, and they're supposed to be arranging to have mine sent to me, so I'm hoping that will mean Autumn #5 will soon be available through the SLG on-line store at least. In the meantime, I'm seeing my publisher tomorrow night, so I'll ask him when we're officially re-soliciting it. I know this really blows monkey ass, and I apologize. I had no choice at the time, because of life stuff, but I knew this would screw things up. :( Hopefully soon all will be well! I am just beginning to work on the script for issue #6. :)

Don't feel bad about it! I just find it odd SLG announced it as being released, when nobody had copies at the time.
At least I've asked the store to hold a copy when it does show up.. :)

Speaking about Wonderland, when is #2 coming out? Issue #1 was great!

I was told that the delay on Autumn #5 wasn't as bad as the first thing I was told about the delay, so it's supposed to be shipping fairly soon, if I understand correctly. The GOOD news is that it's all printed and ready to go, so it's just a matter of getting order #s, and getting them shipped out. I still don't have any copies! Weh.
